Nuggetty Cottage is a fully self contained solid stone cottage with spectacular views over the Loddon Valley set on 24 rocky acres just 3km from the centre of Maldon. The cottage abuts the Maldon Commons with birdlife and bushwalks right at your door, just a 5 minute drive or a pleasant 25 minute walk takes you to Maldon with its cafes and specialty shops.
It is built in the traditional ragstone manner from local Mt Tarrangower stone and accommodates up to four people in two bedrooms, one with a queen bed the second a double. Cosy doonas, electric blankets and sun dried linen all provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and microwave and breakfast provisions are included in your tariff. Heating is provided by a Ned Kelly wood heater and there is also a reverse cycle air conditioner for summer and winter comfort. The lounge area contains a comfortable three seater couch and two arm chairs in which to relax by the fire and dip into the selection of books provided, watch TV or a DVD, listen to a CD or just observe the birds through the round window. Sit on the wide shady veranda and watch the sun go down or enjoy a BBQ – electric and wood BBQs provided.
